Atom starting with Uncaught TypeError

#1

If I do not start atom with:

atom --safe

I get:

Window load time: 2051ms
2 EditorScrollView scrolled when it shouldn’t have.
Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property ‘on’ of undefined /Applications/Atom.app/Contents/Resources/app/node_modules/emissary/lib/subscriber.js:25

Anyone else getting this? I can’t find a way to debug this at the moment. Any ideas?

#2

So it sounds like this is being caused by a package. Do you know which packages you updated most recently?

#3

Tried a few that I knew were recent, no such luck, I’ll have to do the binary search game later… We really do need a better way heh.

#4

Do you have my live-archive installed? It causes that error. Try disabling that first. Not that I’m paranoid or anything.

#5

I actually temporarily have it disabled until I can play with it some more and learn it a lot better

A few packages / operations seem to cause that one once in a while right? What’s the general gist of that error anyway?

#6

It’s a harmless bug in core. I put in an issue.
