Atom is the Default for opening folders in windows 10

#1

Hello everyone, I am having trouble with Atom in windows 10, it seems to have made itself the default program for opening folders in file explorer and I cannot seem to find a way to revert this in atom or windows settings.
Does anyone have any experience with this and can help me out?
Much appreciated and thank you.

Launch regedit from the start-menu and browse to HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Folder\shell. The default to open folders should be under open\command, unless the default action for shell is other than open.

If you create a .reg file with the following content and execute it, it should restore the default. Use at your own risk!

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Folder\shell\open\command]
@=hex(2):25,00,53,00,79,00,73,00,74,00,65,00,6d,00,52,00,6f,00,6f,00,74,00,25,\
  00,5c,00,45,00,78,00,70,00,6c,00,6f,00,72,00,65,00,72,00,2e,00,65,00,78,00,\
  65,00,00,00
