Atom installed... disappears

#1

i download and install Atom and use it straight away.

then i close it: when i close it disappears from the pc: it is not in the programs menu of windows, not in the “open with” list of the right click menu… nowhere. I have to reinstall it continously if i want to use it, everytime i close it, it has to be re-installed to be found in the pc.

in one of the many re-installations, i got an error log, and it didn’t install.

pasted here is the beginning error log, probably it’s the same misfunction… please help…

i have win7

thanks a lot

You haven’t looked everywhere. Atom installs itself into the AppData/Local/atom/ folder inside your user directory. I suggest pinning the icon to your taskbar for easy access.
