I was using atom in fedora 27, it was working fine till the recent fedora upgrade, after the latest upgrade when ever i clicked to open atom, the system gets hanged, cant do anything but to force shutdown the laptop. because of this problem i uninstalled atom. please fix this issue as soon as possible. Thank you in advance.
Have you tried some of the debugging steps in the documentation?
In particular, have you tried starting in safe mode, clearing saved state, or temporarily resetting to factory defaults?
I removed and installed it, even after that i was facing the same problem. other thing i wasn’t able to try because atom freezes the system every time i tried to launch it.
And Thanks for the link, i will try the options mentioned in it.
Although I’m also using atom in fedora 27 with wayland and it works, try to disable it and reboot (because the last update)
