After installing the Atom text editor on my Windows system, I went on to install some packages and all of them installed fine. But the next day when I tried to open the editor nowhere on my system could I find the editor. Disgruntled I uninstalled it from the Programs & Features. Is there any trick that I had missed? Please help.
Atom is installed into
AppData/Local/atom, so you should look there. You should also make sure to put a shortcut somewhere you’ll remember it. Atom doesn’t automatically add shortcuts.
But where is this AppData?
