Atom does not start after update

After upgrading from 1.19 to 1.23, under Fedora 24, Atom stopped working.

There are several instances of the process executing, but no interface window is shown.

I delete the configuration directory (~/.atom) and all than it recreated was the directory with a nohup.out file with:

A JavaScript error occurred in the main process

Have you tried to reinstall the newest version?

Yes. This happened when upgrading to the newest version. And after it broke my setup, I uninstalled Atom, and them reinstalled the most recent one, with the same results.
