Atom Console ('Inspect' vs Ctrl + Shift + I)

#1

I would like to know what the differs from right clicking to ‘inspect’ an opened page in Atom ( after you have installed an HTML viewer and pressed ctrl + shift + H) to just typing ctrl + shift + I.

I have become accustomed to typing ctrl + shift + I to view the console, however when I do this in Atom it does not update the console, but when I right click to ‘inspect’ it does update the console.

Does this have something to do with emmet?

Thoughts?

using ‘inspect’:

using ctrl + shift + I:

In the first screenshot, the inspector is open inside the preview pane. In the second screenshot, the inspector is open inside Atom itself. Atom is built on Chrome, so you can use the same dev tools to play with the editor that you do to play with web sites.
