Atom command line: opens in foreground without -f (Windows/git bash)

#1

Sometimes when I open atom from the command line using atom . it opens in the foreground blocking the terminal event thought I don’t specify the -f command line argument.

Strangely sometimes it works fine. My feeling is that after I’ve restarted my machine it works fine (i.e., it opens in the background and doesn’t block the command prompt) and at some point it starts only opening in the foreground, but I haven’t reproduced the problem consistently.

Has any body else experienced the same behaviour?
