[Atom Beautify] I can't get php-cs-fixer to work. I need a dummy explaination

#1

I’m using Atom Beautify.

But I can’t get php-cs-fixer to work. I’ve tried to follow different methods for installation… Brew, composer, manual downloading the .phar and place in my home directory.

And this is there I am now. Followed the curl instructions on sensiolabs site.

$ curl http://cs.sensiolabs.org/get/php-cs-fixer.phar -o /usr/local/bin/php-cs-fixer
  % Total % Received % Xferd Average Speed Time Time Time Current
                                 Dload Upload Total Spent Left Speed
100  281k  100  281k    0     0   338k      0 --:--:-- --:--:-- --:--:--  338k
$ chmod +x /usr/local/bin/php-cs-fixer

And I’ve set the PHP-CS-Fixer path in Atom Beautify to:
/usr/local/bin/php-cs-fixer/

But if I run Atom Beautify on a .php file nothing happens, it throws no errors. It just gets unresponsive for sec.

Is there a blog post somewhere, or anything I can follow? I can not understand the documentation apparently.

Thanks.

Hi @mikromakro. Since your problem is related to the atom-beautify package, I suggest you to open an issue on Glavin001/atom-beautify instead.
