Atom auto indent after semicolon

#1

Hi,

I’m having this weird issue where in my C# code Atom on typing semicolon at the end of the line indents that same line and the next one. I can’t even imagine a proper use case for this behaviour in any language I know.
It’s driving me nuts.

I don’t know where to look inside the plugins for where to fix it.
I’m using omnisharp and vim-mode, couple of auto-complete packages as well.
Where would be the ideal place to look into this?

Cheers,
Thomas

Have you followed the suggestions in the Debugging document? Also, could you give the following information?

  • Which version of Atom are you using?
  • What OS and version are you running?
  • Can you reproduce the issue after completely exiting Atom and restarting using atom --safe?

Version 1.0.16
OSX Yosemite
No, I can’t reproduce the issue in safe mode.

I’ll go through the debugging document and see if I can narrow it down.

Ok, deactivating the omnisharp-atom package fixes the problem. Seems to be an issue with this package or it’s problem with this package conflicting with another (plausible?).
I don’t think it’s an atom bug, will try to figure it out with the maintainer of that package.
Thanks for you repsonse @leedohm.

You’re welcome. I’m sorry I couldn’t be more help. Sometimes these things are hard to track down :frowning:
