My atom application is not responding or luach , when i clicked it , it blinks the icon and suddenly disappear from the status bar
What happens when you try to start Atom from the command line?
How do we open it from terminal . .
I just used this code
The result was
user3@user3:~$ /usr/bin/atom: line 91: /home/user3/.atom/nohup.out: Permission denied [11561:1222/145416:ERROR:browser_main_loop.cc(170)] Running without the SUID sandbox! See https://code.google.com/p/chromium/wiki/LinuxSUIDSandboxDevelopment for more information on developing with the sandbox on. LaunchProcess: failed to execvp: /proc/self/exe App load time: 1004ms LaunchProcess: failed to execvp: /proc/self/exe [11299:1222/145418:WARNING:file_descriptor_set_posix.cc(30)] FileDescriptorSet destroyed with unconsumed descriptors: 0/1 [11299:1222/145418:ERROR:channel.cc(305)] RawChannel read error (connection broken)
Permission is denied because you don’t own it. Most likely, you installed it using
sudo. You should
sudo chown -R user3 ~/.atom.
but my system is 32 bit . . I think Atom is only released in 64 bit in Ubuntu . .Is that a problem ?
Yes, it is.
Thanku dude . .
