Atom application doesn't launch in ubuntu 12

My atom application is not responding or luach , when i clicked it , it blinks the icon and suddenly disappear from the status bar

What happens when you try to start Atom from the command line?

How do we open it from terminal . .
I just used this code

user3@user3:~$ atom

The result was

user3@user3:~$ /usr/bin/atom: line 91: /home/user3/.atom/nohup.out: Permission denied

Permission is denied because you don’t own it. Most likely, you installed it using sudo. You should sudo chown -R user3 ~/.atom.

but my system is 32 bit . . I think Atom is only released in 64 bit in Ubuntu . .Is that a problem ?

Yes, it is.

Thanku dude . .
