Anyone hacked bracket-matcher to highlight the previous bracket instead of the next?

#1

I want bracket-matcher to highlight the bracket I just typed, not the one I’m going to type.

Atom tries to read my mind, which I don’t expect :slightly_smiling::

Other editors do not.

Has anyone hacked bracket-matcher to highlight the previous bracket? I thought I’d check before digging in to the code…

I opened an issue for this at “When matching a closing bracket, the previous character should be used”.

I made a quick-and-dirty patch against bracket-matcher 57b78b1 in case anyone wants this change now: https://gist.github.com/WalterGR/c77f72093368a478dfa5

If there’s a chance of it going in as a behavior change or setting, I’ll make a proper PR.
