Any way to highlight the background color between $$?

#1

I mainly use Atom to write Latex and I use language-latex for syntax highlighting. It is really good. But I’m wondering if it is possible to highlight the BACKGROUND of the expressions between and , and $$ and $$. For example: highlight the back ground of “y=ax+b” in y=ax+b.

This way will help me quickly distinguish normal texts and math formulas. Thanks!

You can start with the technique mentioned in the FAQ here:

If the specific expressions that you want to highlight don’t have an all-encompassing scope, you could submit an Issue on the language-latex package’s repository.
