Another way of reloading init.coffee?

#1

Hi there,

is there a way of reloading the init.coffee file without having to reload the whole editor?

Just started to look into development for atom and find it a bit annoying to reload the whole thing if i make a change. Should be possible as i can enter commands in the console and they are available directly after.

Thanks!

The init.coffee is designed as an easy way to add one-time startup code to the editor environment. It does not have any corresponding way to tear down what was built in it like packages do in their deactivate method. Because there is no easy way to undo what was done in the init.coffee originally … the only way to return to a clean slate is to reload the environment. Keeping things clean like this is important to ensure that your environment is stable.

Open the command palette (cmd+shift+P) and type “reload”
