Hi All -
I recently moved over to full-time Atom use, and in doing so missed an old package of mine from Sublime. So, I ported it over to Atom today. It’s called Tidy Tabs.
Tidy Tabs closes old tabs that haven’t been modified within a user-set threshold (15 minutes by default). There is also a “minimum tabs” settings, so no tabs will be closed until there are more than n tabs open in the given pane. And of course unsaved files are ignored.
By default, Tidy Tabs runs via a keyboard command (
ctrl-alt-shift-w by default), but you can also enable the “Run on save” configuration option, which will run the tidying function after each file save. I run it in this mode and recommend it.
