After invalid keybinding, atom inserts all characters on the current buffer

#1

I have a set of keybindings using ctrl-space, example: ctrl-space g c for git commit. The problem is that if I press some invalid/unregistered commands, atom is inserting all alphabetical and numbers characters pressed on my current file.

How reproduce:

Example of invalid command: ctrl-space g z (I don’t have any keybinding registered in ctrl-space g)

  1. Open a empty file

  2. press invalid sequence of keybindings (ctrl-space g z)

  3. Atom adds gz character on my current file.

Expected result: After an invalid command, atom should not insert the characters on the current file.
If this a bug/feature? Can I disable it?
