Add a search bar to search within a given user's list of packages for the atom.io user pages

#1

There should be a search bar to search within a given user’s list of to the list of packages that a user has authored. By user pages I mean a page like https://atom.io/users/atom/packages.

#3

Do you mean a search bar to search within a given user’s list of packages? Because if you go to https://atom.io/packages (the main packages page of atom.io), there is a search bar.

#4

Yes, a bar to search through a given user’s packages would be nice.

#5

Atom gives you a list of packages you have installed in your Atom. From Settings, click on Packages on the left. There is a text box that allows you to filter the output.

Is this what you’re looking for?

#6

What’s even better is to see the list of all your packages visible at once in one tab. Then one click opens the full docs in a web page. Try my package package-list.

#7

Not talking about the program, I’m talking about the site.

#8

I’m happy that Github doesn’t track which packages I’ve got installed. So on http://atom.io/ I can only search for available packages, not installed ones.

#9

@kgrossjo, I think what @Obsidian_Jackal is talking about is that they want to search through the list of packages that a user has authored.

#10

Oh! I see. I wanted to say that’s totally silly, but then I found https://atom.io/users/atom/packages – it’s pretty clear that an option to search through these would be quite useful.
