Accelerator key - Mac keyboard accessing remote unix machine

#1

I’m trying to create a menu for an Electron app that runs on a remote Linux machine. There is a client app that runs on Mac, and I need the user experience to be similar to that of a local app. This mostly means that they should be able to use the command key as the accelerator instead of ctrl. The Electron accelerator docs state that specifying ‘Command’ will do nothing on Windows and Linux, which is true, but it is what I want to do. With the same client/server configuration, I am able to get it to work in Firefox by configuring that browser to use a keycode of 224 as the accelerator key. There doesn’t happen to be a way to convince Electron to do this, is there?
